Google SEO Optimization for Blog in Beginning
SEO means Search Engine
Optimization. It is the most important tool for a blogger to drive more traffic
to his/her blog. Many bloggers specially new bloggers don’t know about SEO and
that’s why they are failed to attract more traffic and at last they give up and
leave blogging. I see many people with my own eyes to do so. But don’t worry I
am here to guide you and share my knowledge of four years experience. So lets
start.
1). Blog Title Selection (Keyword Research):
It is important step to begin. The
way to attract your readers is the attraction of your blog title. When someone
search in google he will see your title first, If your title was attractive the
reader will definitely click on your blog link. So for that purpose you must do
some research before about keyword with Google keyword planner. When you got
keyword with large number of search then select it use it in your Bog title.
2). Keyword Research:
Search for more keywords and pick
high search keyword on Google Keyword planner. Pick about Ten (10) key words
related to your blog and write it in Keyword tag in your blog HTML ( As shown
in image below ). Google Search engine compare Input keyword from users to your
blog key words, If they match Google will show your blog is a result. So make
sure your keyword is Close related to your blog topic.
3). Blog Description:
Write short description about your
blog but it should be informative and will be about 160 characters or less.
Reader also see blog description in search result. Use many word same to your
title. It will be easy for Google or any other search engines to pick your blog
in search.

Description: Read about Latest Fashion Design here.
4). URL Submitting to Search Engine:
After performing these steps now
you must submit your blog URL to Google search engine to let google know about
your blog. You can submit your blog through Google webmaster tool. For step by

5). Search Settings in Blog:
It is important to setup your blog setting SEO
friendly. Here I am going to show you some recommended setting which is SEO
friendly. So follow my instructions in setup your settings.
First Go to Blog dashboard click
on settings and then on Search Preferences.
Dashboard > settings > Search Preferences
Now Goto Meta Tag > Descriptions and click 'Edit' check 'Yes' and write short description about your blog.
Then Goto Crawlers and indexing > Custom robots header tags and then click on 'Edit' You will see much more option with check box. Check all the boxes like i am showing in the Image below .
